Aarhus Mambo Klub is open to everybody who would like to learn New York Style Salsa (also called Salsa on2 or Mambo). Membership costs 200 DKK for 3 month. This price includes the membership fee and a contribution towards renting dance studios for classes. Our teachers are working on a voluntary basis from Monday to Wednesday between 17.00 and 22.00, therefore for members there is no extra charge for classes within these hours.

Payment periods are fixed as follows: Quarter1: 1 Jan - 31 March, Quarter2: 1 April - 30 June, Quarter3: 1 July - 30 Sept, Quarter4: 1 Oct - 31 Dec.

You can pay your membership fee via mobile pay or in the club as cash.

If you would to come for a trial class before you pay the membership fee, then you can come along to our introductory classes (Wednesdays 17.30) or to one of our cultural events. Alternatively you can always e-mail us at info@aarhusmamboklub.com or give us a call at 30425488.

We have introduced an introductory class ("Beginner") on Wednesdas between 17.30 and 19.00. Our drop-in beginners class on Wednesdays between 17.30 and 19.00 enables anyone to join the club anytime. Depending on your progress, you will have to attend this class for 1 or 2 month, and once you manage the basic steps, crossbody, basic turns and simple figures with ease, you can move to the "Improvers" level. If you are an intermediate or advanced dancer, talk to us and we will find the most suitable group for you.


The Aarhus Mambo Klub Association was created and is run with the aim of creating a New York Style Salsa Scene in Aarhus, and our primary focus is training social dancers, and promoting the culture and lifestyle of New York Style social dancing.

The Mission of the Aarhus Mambo Klub Association is to popularize New York style Salsa/Mambo/Salsa On2 in Aarhus. We aim to bring the whole cultural platform of salsa dancing including: classes, socials, shows, choreographies, trainings, competitions into the Aarhus Salsa Scene.

We would like to train social dancers who can live up to the level of salsa practiced today all over the world. Our teachers are dedicating a significant amount of their time to teaching for free. As the membership fee only covers the costs of dance studio rentals. We like to dance and we like to share this knowlege with you. However, we kindly ask members to respect our time that we dedicate to free teaching. As a member, we expect you to regularly participate in partnerwork classes, so that we can progress faster.
