In January 2011 Ib Andersen and three other on2 dancers founded Aarhus Mambo Klub with the aim to teach and disseminate New York Style Salsa/ Salsa on2/ Mambo. Ib has danced New York salsa since 2006 and have mainly been taught by The Mambo King himself-Eddie Torres from New York city. Ib frequents several salsa congresses in Europe and has been trained by several salsa icons: Ismael Otero(New York), Juan Matos(New York), Yamulee Group(New York), Adolfo Indacochea(New York), Jerome Ramos(New York) and Mouaze Konate(Paris). He is teaching partnerwork and shines in the Mambo Klub, and is the organizer and DJ of the mambo socials. He is known for playing "first class" congress level salsa music.

Justina Rubavičiūtė is Teaching Partner Work. "Dancing is one of the oldest forms of human cultural activities. For some - it's a delicate way of communicating to others - a great opportunity to discover and express themselves and their feelings for others - it's a lifestyle. That’s why I have always remembered myself dancing. I have started to dance in elementary school and soon I had join girl’s show team and dance different styles (contemporary, modern, ballet, hip-hop) of dancing for 8 years. Ones I have started gymnasium I have jointed couple’s show team for two years, there I have learn basics of ballroom (waltz, cha-cha dancing). Since 2013 I have been living in mambo rhythm. Getting wiser by attending salsa conferences, practicing during the lessons, performing with show team and attending different social dancing events."

Tülay started her dancing adventure at the Aarhus Mambo Club in November 2017 From the start she was hooked to Mambo, Now, it is her turn to pass on what she has learned and show her passion for dance to whoever wants to discover the elegance and fluidity of the New York Style Salsa

Margit Soome discovered the world of salsa in spring 2015 when she joined Aarhus Mambo Klub. She loves the elegance of the style and the interaction between partners, which makes every dance a unique experience. Her dance experience starts from high school when she performed and trained in a show group for 5 years in different styles (street, show, folk). Later she danced flamenco for over 3 years in a flamenco dance studio. Now she is dedicated to the NY style and attends congresses (Paris, Hamburg, Warsaw) to learn more and improve her style. She is also part of the club's show group and has performed with them.

Anna has started dancing as a teenager. Latin dances such as chacha and rumba has been her favourites. . Within two years she became a member of an advanced group in Aarhus Mambo Klub . Her life motto is: ’’willingess to achieve something is stronger then lack of talent’’. Her positive personality brings good atmosphere at the classes. Come and try her teaching, you will not regret it!

Josefine is quite new in the Salsa community but have done rhythmic gymnastics for 8 years. She stumbled upon Aarhus Mambo Club in September 2015 during Aarhus Festuge and just fell in love with it and has been dancing ever since. She is part of the group's Show Team and is participating in her first congress in Warsaw this November. She is a very open-minded and positive person and loves to be helpful to others. She is teaching partnerwork in Mambo and cha-cha.

Marc Poulsen has been addicted to salsa since 2004. He is trained in various latin styles such as cuban, rumba, batacha, L.A, mambo and cha cha. His dance experience comes from the local dance schools in Aarhus and from his stay in Cuba and Los Angeles. He has been teaching for 3 years and has his own dance company in Herning. His classes are primarily focused on Mambo combined with body isolation, shines, and styling technic. His passion is the social dance floor.

Mouaze Konate and Sonia Cavallaro are our guest teachers from Paris and Italy. You can attend classes with them in Denmark usually at the end of October every year at the AARHUS MAMBO AND CHA-CHA Festival. Link to their web site here
